Faith Statement
Jesus, the Name Above All Names
The Bible declares that the one and only true God 1, existing in the persons of the Father2, the Son3, and the Holy Spirit4, has revealed Himself in these last days to mankind5 through Jesus Christ6, who is God the Son7.
The Bible affirms that Jesus Christ is the Center of All Things8, being the source of all that exists9, the measure of all knowledge10, and the judge of all good and evil11.
Jesus is our Lord12, Savior13 and Deliverer14, our only way to salvation15
The Bible teaches that the Law of God, being perfectly righteous and true16, leads us to the knowledge that we are dead (separated from God) in our sin17; none of us is righteous18; we cannot save ourselves19; as a consequence, we are in need of a Savior20.
The Bible proclaims the good news that by believing in Jesus’ death and resurrection21, apart from any self righteous efforts on our part22, we are saved with assurance into eternal life23, and we are enabled by the power of His Holy Spirit to love24 as He commanded us25 by “living by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God,”26 and to live in the assurance of His Second Coming27 to establish His everlasting Kingdom28.
And Jesus Christ declares that the Bible centers on Him and is true29, and He proved it by His life and resurrection from the dead30.
